Partnership Announced at Excellence in Agriculture Conference
January 28, Niagara Falls, ON -- The Canadian Farm Business Management Council, Farms.com and ACC Farmers' Financial are pleased to announce a partnership with the objective to increase Canadian farmer access to business management resources for energy conservation, efficiency and renewable energy.
"There's alot of activity, many organizations involved and a surprising number of programs but awareness is an issue for many producers," says Wendell Joyce of the Canadian Farm Business Management Council. We are working with our partners to sift through it all and increase access online through www.FarmEnergyOnline.com and face-to-face through workshops and community building with industry stakeholders."
In 2007 ACC Farmers' Financial and Farms.com created www.FarmEnergyOnline.com with funding provided by the Agriculture Management Institute and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs. Since that time the Canadian Farm Business Management Council has contributed translation to develop www.InfoAgroEnergie.com and content to enhance www.FarmEnergyOnline.com.

Another objective is to find knowledge and resource gaps and work together to fill them."
